National No Call List

To block sales calls to your land line phones and cell phones you can log on to   https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx    or   www.donotcall.gov 

 or  call 1-888-382-1222 from the cell phone or land line which you would like to have protected from telemarketing calls.

Calls will be blocked permanently (not just 5 years). It may take up to 30 days for the blocking to take

The web site also enables you to check to see if a particular phone number is registered on the no call list.. Complaints of violations of the law may be registered at the  website.
